Air India resumed 10 weekly flights between Toronto and New Delhi, restoring daily service after reducing to five weekly flights due to geopolitical developments.
The route now uses Air India's new B787-9 aircraft with an all-new cabin product and onboard experience, introduced to Canada for the first time.
Air India announced a new non-stop Toronto-Mumbai service for the Winter 2026-27 season, increasing weekly Canada-India flights to 20.
Overall capacity between India and Canada will increase by 4,400 seats per month, according to the airline.
Air India's chief commercial officer Nipun Aggarwal highlighted strong demand during the festive season, citing Canada's large Indian diaspora.
