300-year-old stepwell restored in Belagavi village

Volunteers in Belagavi's Mutaga village restored a 300-year-old stepwell.

The stepwell was buried under garbage for 30 years.

The 80-foot-deep well has 53 stone steps.

From above, the well resembles a Shivling.

It has become a new hotspot for visitors.
