Eric Bieniemy's wife shot at Virginia home
Mia Bieniemy, wife of Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy, was shot at their Virginia residence late Sunday night and hospitalized.
The shooting occurred in Loudoun County's One Loudoun neighborhood around 7:30 p.m. on July 26, 2026, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.
Mia Bieniemy, 57, sustained serious injuries and was admitted to the hospital; Eric Bieniemy was at Chiefs training camp in St. Joseph, Missouri, at the time.
The Chiefs organization acknowledged the incident but declined further comment, stating, 'Our thoughts and prayers are with them.'
