Kunal Kamra shifts three Whitefield shows following opposition by 'Hindutva activists'

Stand-up comedian Kunal Kamra cancelled his scheduled shows in Bengaluru's Whitefield after opposition by Hindutva activists.

Kamra informed Whitefield police on Sunday that he would not perform at the venue due to the protests.

Hindu Rashtra Samanvaya Samiti had petitioned Bengaluru Police to cancel Kamra's August 3 show at URU Whitefield, alleging disrespect to Hindu deities and threat to law and order.

Kamra announced on X that his shows scheduled for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday were shifted to a venue in Koramangala.

BookMyShow will process refunds for tickets booked for the Whitefield shows, and Kamra requested audiences to book tickets for the Koramangala venue, noting limited seating.
