in5points
  1. Standing Committee member Suhas Vijay Tingre demanded a halt to new construction permissions in Dhanori and adjoining areas until the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) upgrades roads, water supply, and drainage.

  2. Tingre argued that approving more residential and commercial projects without infrastructure upgrades would worsen conditions in Dhanori, Porwal Road, and surrounding areas.

  3. Residents of Dhanori Road, Porwal Road, Munjaba Vasti, Kalwad, and Khese Park face severe traffic congestion, and several housing societies depend on water tankers due to inadequate supply.

  4. Tingre flagged delays in completing Development Plan (DP) roads, specifically the incomplete stretch between 509 Chowk and Jakat Naka, demanding accountability.

  5. Residents reported that a journey of two to three kilometers in Dhanori often takes 30 to 45 minutes during peak hours, and traffic congestion affects schoolchildren.
