Brewers remaining careful with Jacob Misiorowski as he returns from layoff

Milwaukee Brewers manager Pat Murphy said the team will monitor Jacob Misiorowski's workload after the All-Star break.

Misiorowski pitched only four innings in an 8-3 win over the New York Mets on July 21, his first start since July 7 due to arm fatigue.

Murphy noted Misiorowski's reduced velocity and lack of rhythm, saying the layoff affected his delivery and legs.

Misiorowski acknowledged feeling not fully in his legs after the long layoff but said he felt 'good enough.'

The Brewers are not listing Misiorowski as a starter for their weekend series against the Colorado Rockies.
