Rajasthan Safai Karamchari recruitment 2026: Notification out for over 24,000 posts; applications begin August 15

Rajasthan's Department of Local Self Government announced over 24,000 contractual Safai Karamchari (sanitation worker) posts across 183 Urban Local Bodies.

No educational qualification is required; candidates need at least one year of sanitation work experience in a Rajasthan Urban Local Body.

Applications open on August 15, 2026; selection will be through a lottery system with no written exam or interview.

Age limit is 21 to 40 years as of January 1, 2027, with standard government age relaxation.

Each candidate can apply for only one Urban Local Body out of the 183 participating bodies.
