Vegetation fire breaks out in Kennewick, Washington State

A vegetation fire dubbed the Finley Fire broke out in Kennewick, Washington State, at 205800 Block E Finley Road.

The fire has burned 0.11 acres as per WatchDuty, and firefighters are responding with a 2nd alarm requested.

Two homes are threatened and the fire has crossed Finley Road, leading to road closures between Pullman and Lexington.

A structure has been involved, and additional vegetation fires—Locust Grove Fire and another near Bateman Rd/Owens—are also burning.

The Locust Grove Fire is at 20 acres with strike teams called to protect structures; cause and injuries are unknown.
