CPWD invites bids for ₹735-cr museum in Delhi’s North and South Blocks

CPWD has invited bids for a ₹735-crore civil works package to convert Delhi's North and South Blocks into the Yuge Yugeen Bharat Museum.

Visitors will enter through glass “Peacock Pavilions”, walk under glass-covered courtyards, and use an underground tunnel for artwork transport between the two buildings.

The museum will span approximately 1.92 million sq ft, including galleries, ticketing plazas, visitor pavilions, and art conservation spaces.

The project has a 26-month completion period and aims to preserve the Grade-I listed heritage status of the North and South Blocks.
