UP ANTF arrests six in twin anti-drug operations; contraband worth ₹1.4 crore seized

UP ANTF arrested six alleged drug traffickers in two separate anti-drug operations.

Contraband including 498.35 kg of acetic anhydride and 20.570 kg of ganja was seized, worth about ₹1.4 crore.

Arrested in the larger operation: Jogesh alias Pinku of Amroha, Wasid of Badaun, Tejpal Singh of Amroha, and Arun Kumar of Amroha.

Acetic anhydride was sourced from Mewat, Haryana, and intended for supply to West Bengal.
