FinMin launches Protection & Indemnity Insurance product under Bharat Maritime Insurance Pool

Financial Services Secretary Sanjay Lohia handed over the first P&I insurance policy to Shipping Corporation of India Ltd.

The product was launched under the Bharat Maritime Insurance Pool.

This is a Protection & Indemnity (P&I) insurance product for maritime risks.

The launch aims to strengthen India's maritime insurance sector.
