Accused surveyed multiple sites before Lohagad fort murder

Pune Rural Police said accused Siya Goyal and Chetan Chaudhary surveyed Tiger Point, Visapur Fort, and other sites before choosing Lohagad Fort.

The accused shared location photos and assessed sites to make the death appear accidental with minimal evidence.

Police said the duo initially planned to injure Ketan Agarwal in a staged accident but abandoned it fearing he could expose them.

The accused conducted internet searches, watched crime-related movies, and discussed methods before deciding to push the victim off a cliff.

Siya Goyal and Chetan Chaudhary pushed Ketan Agarwal into a gorge at Lohagad Fort on June 18, killing him.
