Rs 55k stolen from Bengaluru temple hundi, grocery shop

Thieves stole over Rs 40,000 from the hundi of Angala Parameshwari Temple in Mallathahalli, Bengaluru.

Burglars also broke into the adjacent Subbu Rice Corner and stole Rs 15,000 from a drawer.

The theft occurred in the early hours of July 28, 2026, and was noticed by devotee Sashikala around 2:30 am.

Three miscreants fled on a two-wheeler when Sashikala shouted at them.
