Delhi court grants bail to cook in Hauz Rani B&B fire case

A Delhi court granted bail to 65-year-old cook Keshar Negi in the Hauz Rani Flourish Stay B&B fire case that killed 23 people.

Additional sessions judge Samar Vishal ruled that Negi could not be held criminally liable for performing routine kitchen duties like operating appliances.

The June 3 blaze at Flourish Stay B&B killed 23 people, including 13 foreign nationals; owner Bajaj and licence-holder Jay Mishra remain in judicial custody.
