Apple shouldn’t judge CCI for copy-pasting

Apple faces an antitrust case before the Competition Commission of India (CCI) initiated in 2024, alleging abuse of dominant position in the iOS app ecosystem.

The CCI investigation reportedly copied passages from submissions by rivals Match, PhonePe, and Paytm, and borrowed a chart from a European Commission decision.

Apple argues its market share in India (less than 6%) is too small to justify abuse of dominance, and that its integrated App Store enhances privacy and security.
