Man falls from building, kills pedestrian in Japan

A man fell from a 12-storey building in central Japan and landed on a woman pedestrian.

The woman, 23-year-old Taguchi, died from her injuries.

The man, Inaba, survived and was hospitalized.

The incident occurred in an apartment building and both were taken to hospital.

Taguchi died around 5:30 am, according to police.
