Andhra signs Rs 100-crore UAE deal for food supply chain

Andhra Pradesh signed an agreement with UAE six months after Davos to connect farms, factories, cold chains, ports and overseas buyers.

A Rs 100-crore Chittoor plant is the first investment proposed under the deal.

The deal aims to boost exports of mangoes and other agricultural products from Andhra to UAE.

A tortilla factory is also part of the planned investments.
