EPS 2026: Left your job before completing 10 years? Here's how your withdrawal benefit will be calculated

EPS 2026 retains withdrawal benefit for members leaving before 10 years of eligible service.

A new 36-month waiting period is introduced before the withdrawal benefit can be claimed, unless superannuation age is reached earlier.

Members who leave before 10 years can either claim the withdrawal benefit as per Table IV or obtain a Scheme Certificate.

A Scheme Certificate preserves eligible service for future employment under the EPF Act.

The new scheme replaced EPS 1995 and was notified on 29 June 2026.
