Mohd Zeeshan Ayyub distanced himself from Ajay Devgn's film Chauhaan, claiming his voice was 'misused' in the teaser.
Zeeshan said he was asked to dub a single line a few months ago without context or visual reference, and agreed due to his association with producer Aanand L Rai.
After the teaser released, Zeeshan objected to the context and requested removal of his voice; the makers replaced his voice with another artist 15 days prior to his statement.
Chauhaan is directed by Neeraj Yadav, produced by Jyoti Deshpande, Aanand L Rai, and Himanshu Sharma, and marks the first collaboration between Ajay Devgn and Aanand L Rai.
The film is scheduled for theatrical release on October 1, 2027.
