Kandivali mega rail terminus plan derailed as Defence Ministry rejects land transfer

  4. The project aimed to decongest Mumbai Central, Bandra Terminus, Lokmanya Tilak Terminus, and CSMT, and serve 1–1.5 lakh passengers daily.

  5. Western Railway must now search for an alternative site for the terminus.
