Hyderabad Regional Ring Road: Gadkari Says 99 Per Cent Land Notified For Northern Corridor, Southern DPR Yet To Be Finalised

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari said 99.06 per cent of land for the 161.518 km northern corridor of the Hyderabad Regional Ring Road has been notified under Section 3D of the National Highways Act.

The DPR for the northern corridor is completed and appraised by the PPPAC; the six-lane project under Bharatmala Pariyojana Phase-I is estimated at Rs 23,935.6 crore via Hybrid Annuity Model.

The DPR for the southern corridor of the Hyderabad RRR is yet to be finalised, with no update on cost or clearances.

Compensation awards under Section 3G have been declared for 87.19 per cent of the land for the northern corridor.
