Salman Khan breaks silence on CJP protests with his own picture as a student: ‘It was such a peaceful movement’

Salman Khan shared a photo of himself as a student and called the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP)-led protest a peaceful movement.

He expressed sadness that the protest turned violent and said his heart goes out to students and their families who were hurt.

Khan supported the students' demand for a better educational system due to the paper leak issue.

He urged that the protest should not be hijacked politically and credited the students for their peaceful approach.

During Monday's protest, students marched from Jantar Mantar to Parliament and were met with lathi-charge and tear gas by Delhi police.
