The injury occurred during an 11-on-11 session, with no details on severity until an MRI is performed.

General manager Brandon Beane said further testing will determine the severity: "I don't know anything yet. Until we get an MRI , we'll see."

Gardner-Johnson was signed as a free agent this offseason and is expected to play a key role in the team's secondary.
