CWG 2026 gold medallist Jaismine Lamboria to lead India as flag-bearer at Glasgow closing ceremony

Jaismine Lamboria will be India's flag-bearer at the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games closing ceremony.

Lamboria won gold in the women's 57kg boxing final, defeating Michaela Walsh of Northern Ireland 5-0.

India's boxing team achieved a record haul of seven gold and three silver medals at these Games.

The Games flag will be handed over to Ahmedabad, host of the 2030 Commonwealth Games, during the ceremony.

Lamboria previously won bronze at Birmingham 2022 and gold at the 2025 World Championships.
