3 held for robbing people in auto rickshaws in Noida

Two men were arrested and a minor was detained in Noida for robbing a 26-year-old man after posing as an auto-rickshaw driver and fellow passengers in Sector 80.
The victim, Roshan, was robbed of his mobile phone and ₹1,000 in cash, and forced to transfer ₹25,000 via UPI.
Police recovered the stolen mobile phone, ₹2,250 in cash, the auto-rickshaw used in the crime, and a knife.
The incident occurred on June 24, 2026, near the Parthala flyover; the victim had boarded the auto-rickshaw from Sector 62 roundabout after his night shift.
The adult accused have criminal records: one has seven cases including under the Gangster Act, and the other has three cases.
