Included in Asiad squad, Pal vows to work hard

Indian midfielder Rajkumar Pal was included in the 20-member squad for the 2026 Asian Games in Japan after missing the Hockey World Cup squad.

Pal, who debuted in 2021, has won bronze at the 2024 Paris Olympics and gold at the 2024 Asian Champions Trophy.

He aims to perform well at the Asian Games to stay in contention for the 2028 Olympics.

UP Hockey secretary Rajnish Mishra praised Pal's selection, citing his skill and hard work.
