India raises with UAE issue of Indians affected by Dubai Iranian hospital closure

India raised with UAE the issue of over 130 Indian nationals affected by closure of an Iranian hospital in Dubai.

Minister of state for external affairs Kirti Vardhan Singh informed Rajya Sabha on July 30, 2026.

The matter was raised through diplomatic channels with local UAE authorities.

The Indian mission and consulate in UAE have engaged with affected Indians and extended assistance.

The government said visa decisions fall within the sovereign jurisdiction of any country.
