Virar Woman Dies After Alleged Push By Father-In-Law During Family Dispute; Accused Arrested

Prachi Kalpesh Patil, 28, died after her father-in-law Ganpat Patil allegedly pushed her during a dispute in Virar West.

Patil suffered a fatal head injury after falling and was declared dead at a hospital.

Ganpat Patil was arrested by Bolinj Police and remanded to five days of police custody by a Vasai court.

The incident occurred when Patil tried to take her eight-month-old daughter from Ganpat, leading to a scuffle.

A case was registered under Sections 105 and 351(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
