Ex-Army Captain Amar Simha Yadav joins IIM Calcutta

Capt. Amar Simha Yadav graduated with a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Mandi in 2017 and worked as a Senior Engineer at Larsen & Toubro (L&T) in the UAE.

He left his corporate job in Dubai to join the Indian Army, where he served for over six years as a Captain and Combat Engineer Officer.

After his military service, he joined the one-year MBA Executive programme at IIM Calcutta.

His journey reflects a shift from corporate stability to military service and now management education, driven by purpose and leadership goals.
