Sooraj Pancholi breaks silence on Jiah Khan case years after acquittal

Sooraj Pancholi, acquitted by a special CBI court after a 14-year trial, broke his silence on the Jiah Khan case in an Instagram note on August 2, 2026.

He criticized media outlets and content creators for portraying the case as unresolved and urged them to present verified facts instead of speculation.

Pancholi said he was 20 when the incident occurred and spent 14 years fighting to prove his innocence, which consumed his twenties and part of his thirties.

He stated he chose to remain silent to protect Jiah Khan's privacy and respected her memory, despite giving up his right to share personal conversations.
