Bengaluru road has 350 bumps on 7km stretch

Bommasandra–Jigani Link Road, a 7km industrial corridor in Bengaluru, has about 350 bumps and jolts over its length.

Only 2km of the road is reasonably motorable; travel time has stretched from 15-20 minutes to nearly an hour.

The road is lined with major companies including Biocon Park, Micro Labs Ltd, HCL Technologies, and Carl Zeiss India.

One side of the carriageway near Biocon campus is resurfaced while the opposite side remains badly damaged.

Commuters and residents blame crumbling infrastructure and official apathy for the road's condition.
