President Murmu assents to anti-paper leak amendment Bill
President Droupadi Murmu has given assent to the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Amendment Bill, 2026.

The amended law introduces stricter penalties: individuals guilty of paper leaks face 5 to 10 years imprisonment and fines up to Rs 50 lakh.
