SRK's King eyes record-breaking Rs 50 crore music rights deal

Shah Rukh Khan's 'King', directed by Siddharth Anand, is reportedly set for a record-breaking Rs 50 crore music rights deal with Zee Music, though CEO Punit Goenka says talks are ongoing.

The film, releasing this Christmas, stars Deepika Padukone, Suhana Khan, and Abhishek Bachchan, with music by Sachin–Jigar and Anirudh Ravi.

Comparable big-ticket music deals include 'Ramayana' (Rs 75 crore to T-Series) and 'Dhurandhar: The Revenge' (Rs 54 crore), according to reports.

Zee Music's CEO Punit Goenka confirmed discussions but stated nothing has been finalized yet.

'King' is a pan-India action-thriller, marking the second collaboration between Shah Rukh Khan and Siddharth Anand after 'Pathaan'.
