Anurag Kashyap says former CBFC Chief Prasoon objected to Satluj without watching it
in5points
Anurag Kashyap said former CBFC chairperson Prasoon Joshi objected to Diljit Dosanjh's film 'Satluj' without watching it.
The film was previously titled 'Punjab '95' and faced censorship issues for nearly three years.
'Satluj' was removed from ZEE5 worldwide days after its release, allegedly after the I&B Ministry sent a letter to ZEE5.
Director Honey Trehan said neither he nor the producers received direct communication before the film was taken down.
Kashyap criticized Joshi for not making public statements on film censorship controversies.
