India hosts maiden Operation Southern Readiness in Kochi, 26 nations join maritime exercise

India hosted the first edition of Operation Southern Readiness (OSR) in Kochi from July 20 to 23.

countries participated with 254 attendees for a four-day multinational maritime security training exercise.

The exercise was held at the Southern Naval Command in Kochi.

Operation Southern Readiness was conducted in partnership with the Combined Maritime Forces (CMF).

The exercise aimed to strengthen cooperation, interoperability, and professional readiness among partner navies.
