India has 50% urea surplus for Kharif 2026 season, govt informs

India's urea inventory for Kharif 2026 is 163.78 LMT against a requirement of 109.40 LMT.

Stocks are nearly 50% higher than required, as informed by Union Minister JP Nadda.

The surplus is attributed to increased domestic production.
