Akshay Kumar and Neeraj Pandey reunite after more than a decade

Akshay Kumar and Neeraj Pandey reunite for a biopic on R.D. Burman, their first collaboration since 'Baby' (2015).

Farhan Akhtar will portray R.D. Burman, with Akshay Kumar in a special appearance role.

Directed by Neeraj Pandey and backed by his banner with Excel Entertainment, production begins in September.

Pre-production includes music sittings to recreate Burman's musical legacy, with a large ensemble cast expected.
