PPP Flags Polling Delays, Code Violations During PoJK Assembly Elections

Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) PoJK election cell in-charge Sardar Abdul Shakoor alleged polling delays in LA-28, LA-29, and LA-31, with personnel missing at scheduled times, forcing voters to wait.
The PoJK Election Commission postponed polling in LA-27 Muzaffarabad-I due to heavy rainfall and landslides blocking roads and preventing staff and materials from reaching stations.
In LA-34, Shakoor reported that polling agents for PPP candidate Colonel (Retd) Qadeer were not allowed to take assigned positions at stations in Cantonment and Sheranwala Gate areas.
PPP candidate Chaudhry Latif Akbar filed a written complaint to the Chief Election Commissioner about the closure of Rangla-Katkair Road, stranding over 50 vehicles carrying voters.
The PPP urged the Election Commission to stop alleged illegal activity, seize ballot papers in question, remove a government employee from polling agent duties, investigate allegations, and initiate legal proceedings.
