Hardoi police recover ₹1.29 cr, arrest 14 in trader’s house theft

Hardoi police recovered ₹1.29 crore and arrested 14 accused in the theft from trader Pankaj Agarwal's house.

Three employees of Agarwal's wholesale grocery business allegedly planned the theft with associates after learning cash was kept at the residence.

Police identified Ajay Shukla, a relative of the trader's accountant, as the alleged mastermind.

The investigation involved analysis of nearly 150 CCTV cameras and raids across Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, and Uttarakhand.

Two juveniles were also apprehended; at least two arrested accused have prior criminal cases.
