Messi buys tickets for Cabo Verde keeper's family

Lionel Messi arranged tickets at his own expense for four family members of Cabo Verde goalkeeper Vozinha to attend the 2026 FIFA World Cup final.

Messi purchased a large number of tickets during the tournament for people who could not afford to attend matches.

The gesture was revealed after the final by Argentine journalist Yanina Latorre.

Messi developed a warm relationship with Vozinha after Argentina defeated Cabo Verde 3-2 in the round-of-32.
