Youth booked for running over stray dog in Bengaluru

A young car driver was booked for hitting a street dog in Jayanagar, Bengaluru on July 24.

Activist Badri Prasad MS from Jayanagar Canine Squad reported that the dog named Jockey is being treated for broken hind legs and fractured bones.

The accused was allegedly booked for a similar offence in January 2022.

Police issued a notice to the car owner (KA-05-NK-5893) and requested details on who was driving at the time.
