Overwatch 2 outage reports surge amid Blizzard server issues

Overwatch 2 is down for thousands of users in the US, with nearly 6,400 outage reports on Down Detector.

Battle.net also saw 442 outage reports, suggesting a wider Blizzard server issue.

The outage started at 3:27pm EDT, with reports peaking at around 6,000 at 3:57pm EDT before dissipating to about 4,000 by 4:20pm EDT.

The issues affect Activision Blizzard, which is owned by Microsoft.
