Hollywood A-listers become victims of cyberattack

Angelina Jolie, Robert De Niro, Martin Scorsese, and other Hollywood A-listers had personal contact details exposed in a cyberattack.

The breach involved nearly 666,000 records from 2019 to 2026 tied to the Tribeca Film Festival, including marketing materials and a 'contacts' file.

Cybersecurity researcher Jeremiah Fowler discovered the leak and attributed it to human error; the data was removed after he notified festival officials.

The exposed information included phone numbers, email addresses, and device details, raising concerns about cloud data security.
