Maharashtra Minister Nitesh Rane Reviews Sassoon Dock Redevelopment, Marol Fish Market Project And Fishermens

Maharashtra Fisheries and Ports Minister Nitesh Rane reviewed the progress of Sassoon Dock redevelopment following an MoU and the Marol fish market project in Mumbai.

The meeting at Mantralaya included officials from Maharashtra Fisheries Development Corporation and Fisheries Commissioner Prerna Deshbhratar.

Discussions covered providing hand gloves and gumboots to women in the fishing community for safety during daily work.

Rane directed departments to ensure necessary facilities for fishermen and women engaged in the sector.

Representatives from Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilizers (RCF) attended the meeting.
