'Night Heat' actor Scott Hylands passes away at 83

Scott Hylands, known for 'Night Heat' and 'Fargo', died on July 29 at age 83.

His son Luke Hylands announced the death on Instagram, calling him 'forever hero'.

Hylands played Detective Kevin 'OB' O'Brien in 'Night Heat' from 1985 to 1989.

His career included roles in 'Kung Fu', 'Wonder Woman', and 'The Waltons'.

Hylands studied zoology before turning to theatre arts and acting.
