NCP-SP MLA Rohit Pawar Demands High-Level Probe Into Pune University Fake Degree Scam, Warns Of Agitation

NCP-SP MLA Rohit Pawar demanded a high-level probe into the fake degree scam at Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU).

Pawar warned that the racket could be larger than currently known and called for a forensic audit of all degree certificates from the past 10 years.

He demanded a criminal case against suspended employee Ramesh Mukhekar and forensic examination of his mobile phone.

Pawar also alleged irregularities in faculty recruitment, including bribery of up to ₹1 crore, and demanded scrutiny of interview marks and recruitment software.

He threatened agitation if strict action is not taken within 12 days.
