Bengaluru man wears shoes on bad road to protest

Engineer-entrepreneur Dhananjaya Bhandarkar posted a viral video running on a 1.5 km unpaved road in Rudrappa Layout, Bengaluru, to protest poor road conditions.

The video targets Bengaluru development minister Krishna Byre Gowda and Yeshwantpur MLA ST Somashekar, demanding road asphalt.

Only the first 200 meters of the road in Rudrappa Layout are asphalted; the rest remains dusty and uneven.

Residents were told roads would be paved after Cauvery water pipeline work, which was completed a year ago, but the roads remain unpaved.
