'I am sad, I couldn't be selected': 17-year-old woman cricketer dies by suicide

Aditi Chaukhande, a 17-year-old aspiring cricketer, died by suicide in Nagpur's Laxmi Nagar area.

A suicide note mentioned her disappointment over not being selected for a higher-level cricket team.

Aditi was training alongside her brother, Prabal, also an upcoming player; she had passed Class 12 recently.

Police registered an accidental death case; Senior Inspector Chetan Chauhan confirmed the investigation.
