Maharashtra Govt Launches Cashless PetroCard For 3,195 Ambulances; 102 Service Expanded To All Patients

Maharashtra government launched a Cashless PetroCard system for 3,195 government ambulances to ensure uninterrupted fuel supply and financial transparency.

Public Health Minister Prakash Abitkar announced the 102 ambulance service, previously restricted to pregnant women and children, will now be available to all patients across the state.

The Cashless PetroCard, issued with Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL), enables cashless fuel purchases and real-time monitoring of expenditure.

The initiative aims to eliminate delays in refuelling and improve operational efficiency of emergency healthcare services.
