Temasek widens scope of India investments

Temasek is expanding its India investment focus to include industrials and artificial intelligence, beyond traditional sectors like consumer, financial services, and healthcare.

Temasek's India portfolio reached $42 billion as of March 2026, growing more than fourfold over the decade.

Temasek deployed nearly $9 billion in India over the past three years and aims to match that amount in the next three years.

Temasek targets increasing its AI exposure to 15% by 2031.

Temasek's India investments include ICICI Bank, Eternal, Lenskart, Skyroot Aerospace, and a 9-10% stake in Haldiram Snack Foods.
